mandy, don't worry about not learning the language right away. i've been in Finland since the beginning of august, had a week of language camp, and lessons twice a week, and I still don't speak it. the natives understand that sometimes their language is hard to learn (german is a hard one) and they will always help you. dont stress. it'll come.
