Subject parents visiting

Date Wed Dec 29 2004 20:47
Author Theresa (resaweidemann@gmx.de)

Hei everyone!
I am a 16-year old German girl and I myself am going to Finland next year as an exchange student for a year.
Last year, my family hosted a canadian girl. Her parents also visited her in May, after she has been staying with us for about 9 months. I think they have really enjoyed that. She was already aware of the language and the customs (and of course also of the complicated train schedules...) and showed her parents around in the town and the country where she has been living for so long, all by herself. But I myself probably wouldnt want my parents or someone else to visit me during my exchange year...
But it is up to you, it is your decision whether you want your parents to visit you or not.
