hi there jess.im not yet an exchange student but im trying to apply. im not an american u see. im a malaysian. i wanted to experience what u've experienced in south korea but there's a few things im worried about. u see, im 16 and here in malaysia, i have another year before i graduate from secondary school. will i miss my countries major test? even if i don't, will i be able to catch up? i've read the rules n i remember reading something about no certificate from your host country will be given so do i have to take my final year all over again? i cant u see for the syllabus for pre-spm(our final major exam in secondary which will determine whether one make it to form six(pre-u) or college or maybe straight to university)has been changed. i cant take the exam the other year for what my year learns are all different from theirs. So does this means that i'll definitely go to colleges? how about the language barrier between you and people there? do you know how to speak korean even b4 u go there? i know i've asked a lot of questions but this final one is very important, the costs of all these. how much do u have to pay in this time there? how long did u actually spent there? Thank you for spending time reading this and i hope to get some answer and information from u soon. Thanks.
