This may seem a little weird but I have heard of people who have
had success with reading one page a day from their english/german
dictonary. Or you could try reading little kids books. But the most
important thing would be to say whatever you can in German.
Even if all you know how to say is Wie heißt du? or Wie gehts? just
keep talking in German. It will come eventually.
